What if I need to reschedule my appointment?

To reschedule your appointment, log in to the Brightside Portal on the Web, and use the “Reschedule” button to select a new time. If you are using the mobile app, click the “Reschedule” button on the relevant plan card on the “Appointments” tab.

To help respect your psychiatric provider’s and therapist’s time, as well as support appointment availability to other Brightside members seeking care, we require members to reschedule their appointments at least 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, our cancellation policy goes into effect and you may be charged a no-show fee.

Please note that refunds will not be issued for failure to attend your appointment after it has started. We understand that things come up, so if you are not confident that you will be able to make your scheduled appointment, you can reschedule 24 hours in advance within the Brightside Portal

In addition to a potential no-show fee, failing to attend scheduled appointments after multiple attempts may result in a potential reassignment of your care or discharge from Brightside Health.
