How much does it cost?

I’m planning to pay for services directly (not using medical insurance benefits)

Psychiatry

Brightside’s Psychiatry plan costs $95 per month + your pharmacy copay – if you have insurance prescription (Rx) benefits. Your plan includes a comprehensive remote psychiatric provider evaluation and ongoing provider support and monitoring of your care, including any necessary adjustments.

Therapy

Therapy costs $299 per month for four video sessions and unlimited messaging with a licensed therapist who helps guide you through a personalized program using evidence-based approaches. Additional 45-minute video appointments with your therapist are available for $59 per session.

Psychiatry + Therapy

Our integrated Psychiatry + Therapy program costs $349 per month – a savings of $45. In addition to the benefits of the Psychiatry Plan, you get unlimited messaging and a weekly video session with a licensed therapist who helps guide you through a personalized program using evidence-based approaches.

I’m planning to use my medical insurance to pay for care

Your insurance may cover all or some of your care depending on your plan. With Cigna, all of your care will be covered, including consultations, unlimited messaging, treatment monitoring and prescription management. If your insurance is with one of our other partners, you may be responsible for a small member fee, which ensures you receive comprehensive care beyond what your insurance pays for. If you sign up for services, we’ll provide details about any cost share responsibilities that we’re able to look up on your behalf. We also recommend that you contact your health insurance plan to verify that your care at Brightside will be covered.

* Important note about prescription (Rx) benefits. If you decide to purchase a Medication plan subscription through Brightside, any prescription costs will depend on the pharmacy you decide to use. If you choose to have your prescriptions delivered, the cost will be $15 per fill or your co-pay if your prescription (Rx) benefits are accepted by the mail order pharmacy. Prescription benefit coverage information will not be available to you until your provider prescribes and sends your prescription to the mail order pharmacy. If you decide to pick up your prescription from your local pharmacy, Brightside does not cover these prescription expenses and the cost of your medication will depend on the local pharmacy that you use. GoodRx coupons may be available to use at your local pharmacy to help with any out of pocket expenses if you do not have insurance.
