Biography

Yolanda Butcher is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over five years of experience supporting adolescents and adults through a wide range of mental health challenges. She has worked across diverse settings, including outpatient counseling centers, school-based programs, domestic violence shelters, and community mental health agencies. Yolanda specializes in concerns such as trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, substance use, and complex mental health conditions, and earned her Master of Social Work from the State University of New York at Albany.

Yolanda takes a trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach to care, primarily using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) while integrating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), exposure-based techniques, and mindfulness practices as needed.
