Biography

Wes Swan is a warm and collaborative licensed counselor who specializes in Anxiety, Depression, Religious Trauma, and Developmental Trauma. He loves helping people find their true self, living from a place of confidence, inner peace, and mindfulness. Wes has practiced professional counseling for over 7 years and has enjoyed working in the helping field for over 15 years. When counseling, he prefers using Mindfulness-Based CBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Somatic Experiencing. He's found that the best therapy always heals both the head and the heart, blending cognitive and emotional techniques. He loves establishing a strong connection that sets the foundation for the often challenging work of therapeutic self-inquiry. He finds he works well with folks from all backgrounds, ages, faiths/non-faiths, genders, and identities. Wes will join you in finding your specific goals and desires for counseling, while gently offering his expertise to fine-tune the process. He's committed to guiding you through whatever difficulties situations are holding you back from loving yourself and your life. Outside his office, Wes enjoys being in nature, painting, and his passion for music.
