Biography

Tammy has 25 years of clinical experience in treating mental health symptoms, addiction issues, marriage and family therapy concerns, developmental struggles, and sexual concerns. As a therapist who values the essence of who you are rather than what you do, her goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, Tammy will work with you to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. Having extensive experience and knowledge in effective and comprehensive therapy techniques and strategies, she will address the dynamics in your life that have been holding you back from experiencing happiness and good mental health in your life's journey. Tammy keeps balance in her life by finding out-of-the-way places that have great food or beautiful scenery to hike and explore. She would rather bike 30 miles than run a block. Tammy has taught human development and psychology at the UW-Eau Claire for 17 years and the emphasis on healthy development and being true to your identity certainly shows in the work that she does clinically.
