Biography

Stephanie Garcia, LMFT is a licensed marriage and family therapist with over nine years of experience supporting individuals through trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, and PTSD. She specializes in helping clients break free from emotional and behavioral patterns that keep them feeling stuck. Grounded in a person-centered and trauma-informed approach, Stephanie integrates evidence-based practices like CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and family systems therapy to empower clients to heal, grow, and thrive.

In therapy, Stephanie brings a warm, direct, and collaborative presence. She believes clients hold the wisdom they need to change and sees her role as a guide who offers both challenge and support. Stephanie especially enjoys working with women, veterans, single mothers, and survivors of trauma, and she brings a culturally sensitive lens to her work with diverse communities. Outside of her practice, she enjoys hiking, running, cooking, and traveling, and she was recently recognized by the University of Hawaii for her outstanding public service and community impact.
