Ms. Stefanie Walker is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience providing therapy services to both adults, adolescents and children. Stefanie is dually Licensed in Georgia and Oklahoma and she is also an Oklahoma State Board Certified Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor. Stefanie has worked with clients affected by depression, anxiety, trauma and abuse, anger management, self-esteem issues, parenting issues, grief/loss, ADHD, LGBTQ, empowering victims of Narcissist, prejudice and discrimination and coping with life changes in general. Stefanie’s counseling style is strength based to meet you where you are at and work toward a common goal to develop coping skills while empowering her clients to live their best life. Stefanie considers the client/therapist relationship to be the most important thing in counseling. She believes in treating all people with dignity and respect while being sensitive and compassionate to your thoughts, beliefs and goals. Stefanie utilizes Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness, Person Centered Therapy, Family System Trauma Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Reality Therapy. Together we will develop a treatment plan to best fit your individual needs and identify solutions that you will be able to implement on your own, making you the expert during your mental health journey.
