Biography

Shipra Singh is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Supervisor (LPCC-S) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) based in Louisville, Kentucky. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision at the University of Louisville. Shipra’s clinical work focuses on mental health counseling, addiction recovery, trauma-informed care, and supporting individuals with disabilities. She has extensive experience providing both individual and group counseling for clients with dual diagnoses, including co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, and she currently provides telehealth counseling while also supporting perinatal and postpartum mental health.

Originally from India, Shipra holds advanced degrees in psychology and counseling, including a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and postgraduate training in Counseling Psychology from India, as well as a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. She has received several academic honors, including a Gold Medal for excellence in Counseling Psychology. Shipra is actively involved in professional organizations such as the American Counseling Association and the Kentucky Counseling Association, where she serves as a Mentor Facilitator in the Counselor of Color Leadership Academy. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
