Biography

"Dr. Sheron Steward, PhD, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor with over 40 years of behavioral health experience and more than 30 years in private practice. She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance use disorders, and trauma-related concerns using evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy. A military veteran and former federal law enforcement officer, Dr. Steward brings deep understanding and compassion to her work with veterans, forensic referrals, and underserved populations.

Known for her wisdom, humor, and spiritual grounding, Dr. Steward integrates faith and practical tools to support whole-person healing—mind, body, and spirit. Outside of clinical work, she serves as a non-denominational pastor, author, and motivational speaker. She’s transformed her own life experiences—including those chronicled in her book—into a platform for hope and empowerment. She is a proud wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother who finds joy in helping others rediscover theirs."
