Sherile Smith, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor with over 16 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families in achieving emotional well-being and personal growth. She specializes in mood disorders, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, and supporting survivors of trauma, including emotional, physical, and sexual abuse. Drawing from a person-centered approach, Sherile integrates CBT, DBT activities, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused strategies to help clients replace self-defeating behaviors with healthier patterns while establishing strong personal boundaries. Her career spans diverse settings, including hospitals, schools, universities, nonprofits, and private practice, and she is trained in sexual assault advocacy, domestic violence, and crisis intervention/prevention.
Sherile’s style is empathetic, collaborative, and grounded in trust. She strives to create a safe space where clients feel seen, heard, and believed, fostering the confidence to explore challenges and work toward lasting change.
