Biography

Samuel Steinbruegge, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker with nearly a decade of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults through anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, substance use, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. He has particular experience working with first responders, veterans, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those navigating complex trauma or identity-related concerns. Samuel grounds his work in a strong therapeutic alliance and draws from evidence-based approaches including CBT, CPT, DBT, TF-CBT, IFS-informed work, and EMDR. He tailors treatment to each client’s needs while maintaining model integrity and clinical effectiveness.

Samuel’s therapeutic style is collaborative, flexible, and strengths-focused. He believes all people have the capacity for healing and works to create a space where clients feel respected, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. He has experience providing individual, family, and group therapy to diverse communities and values meeting clients in a developmentally appropriate and culturally responsive way. Outside of therapy, Samuel enjoys spending time outdoors, watching The Lord of the Rings, and playing games with his family.
