Ruth Darland, LMHC

Ruth Darland is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor serving clients in Washington and Kentucky with over a decade of clinical experience. She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, postpartum challenges, and substance use. Ruth draws from a range of evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing to support lasting emotional and behavioral change. She believes deeply in the brain’s capacity for transformation, empowering clients to take active steps toward growth by “rewiring” unhelpful patterns with intention and self-awareness.
