Biography

Life is full of ups and downs, but the true test is how we overcome those obstacles. Riddhi Sevak-Patel, a Licensed Clinical Therapist with over 10 years in the field understands this well. Graduating with honors from the University of Alabama in 2010 with a Master of Social Work. She has a diverse background in healthcare, from acute inpatient Neuro ICU care to outpatient rehabilitation to experience in a psychiatrist unit, Riddhi has worked with individuals of all ages facing challenges such as depression, suicidal thoughts, grief, trauma, and substance abuse. As a mother of three, Riddhi relates to the pressures of balancing motherhood with personal well-being, emphasizing that no one should feel alone in their struggles. She tries to practice what she preaches by finding time to go running, reading and doing puzzles and finding time for yourself. Riddhi's therapeutic approach combines humanistic principles with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She believes in the resilience of individuals and aim to help clients discover their strengths and process their emotions to achieve personal growth. She is looking forward to helping you navigate your own healing journey.
