Biography

Patrick Ramsey is a therapist with 18 years of experience, specializing in anxiety, depression, sexuality, gender, relationships, ADHD, and religious trauma. He began as a special educator and school counselor before earning his therapy degree at the University of North Texas. Patrick primarily works with individuals from diverse backgrounds, many of whom experience minority stress, including those in the LGBTQIA+ community and people exploring non-traditional lifestyles. Certified in sex therapy by AASECT, he co-founded PFLAG and practices remote therapy in Texas, with licenses in Florida and Vermont. His therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, EMDR, Positive Psychology, and Gottman couples therapy, often with personalized assignments.
