Biography

Oyindamola McCracken, MS, LPC, is a trauma-informed therapist with over a decade of experience helping children, teens, and adults heal from life’s most difficult moments. Her clinical focus includes trauma, domestic abuse, anxiety, depression, substance use, and self-worth. Known for her warmth and cultural responsiveness, Oyindamola creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel seen, supported, and empowered.

Oyindamola uses a collaborative, client-centered approach rooted in evidence-based practices. She primarily draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), while integrating tools like the PHQ-9 and GAD-7 to guide care. Her sessions emphasize emotional resilience, skill-building, and goal-oriented strategies tailored to each client’s unique story and strengths.

Over her career, she has worked extensively in both clinical and community-based settings—beginning as a Clinical Coordinator for at-risk youth and later providing in-home therapy for families facing crisis. Her deep understanding of trauma, family dynamics, and recovery allows her to support clients through a wide range of challenges, from early childhood through adulthood.

Clients often describe Oyindamola as calm, grounded, and deeply compassionate. She believes healing happens when people are heard without judgment and encouraged to take meaningful steps toward emotional well-being.

Outside of the therapy room, she enjoys spending time with her family, staying active, supporting her community, and finding balance through faith and creativity.
