Biography

Michelle Dixon works with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and major life transitions. Her approach is grounded, collaborative, and trauma-informed, integrating CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and other evidence-based practices to help clients build healthier coping skills, emotional regulation, and self-awareness. Outside of therapy, Michelle enjoys gardening, sewing, and spending time with her family.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I offer space to explore your experiences while helping you find ways to navigate everyday challenges.
Sessions may include talking through a difficult situation, noticing patterns, practicing coping skills, or exploring boundaries and relationships. We’ll balance what feels most important that day with the goals you want to work toward.

Interests & hobbies

Outside of work, I enjoy caring for my houseplants, sewing, and traveling. I’m also working toward my PhD in Neurodiverse Studies. Learning, creating, and exploring new places are meaningful to me.
