Biography

Mercedes Bryjak, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist with over a decade of experience supporting individuals and couples through a wide range of concerns, including relational issues, intimacy issues, fertility challenges and life transitions. She draws from evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and Emotionally Focused Therapy to help clients manage emotional distress, strengthen relationships, and live with greater intention. Mercedes is also a Certified Sex Therapist with advanced training in Gottman Method Levels I and II and integrative behavioral approaches for couples therapy. Mercedes brings a warm, insightful, and relational presence to therapy. She values the healing power of connection and offers a supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow. Mercedes enjoys working with adults of diverse backgrounds, particularly those navigating relationship challenges, parenting challenges and family-of-orgin obstacles. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending quality time with her friends. She is fluent in both English and Polish and brings a culturally responsive lens to her work.
