He earned his master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and has worked across a range of settings, including detoxification units, crisis stabilization programs, and psychiatric hospitals. Maurice is known for his empathetic, down-to-earth style and his ability to build strong, trusting relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Maurice takes a flexible, person-centered approach to therapy, integrating evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy. He helps clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, build practical coping strategies, and move toward meaningful, goal-oriented change.
