Mary Rodriguez, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 2–4 years of experience supporting adolescents and adults facing addiction, trauma and PTSD, depression, bipolar disorder, relationship challenges, substance use, and life stressors. She has worked across inpatient units, emergency departments, outpatient therapy centers, and telehealth, giving her a broad clinical foundation and experience with clients at varying levels of acuity. Mary also has experience working with veterans, first responders, survivors of domestic abuse, and individuals navigating complex relationship dynamics.
Mary integrates evidence-based practices into her work, primarily utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to provide psychoeducation, teach coping strategies, and help clients challenge unhelpful thought patterns. She also incorporates Trauma-Focused CBT to support clients in processing traumatic experiences while building regulation and coping skills. Depending on client needs, she may draw from ACT, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness-based strategies, and other integrative approaches to promote resilience and sustainable growth.
She believes that everyone sometimes needs support to help their “light shine a little brighter,” and that while the healing journey may include obstacles, the outcome is worth the effort. Mary strives to create a compassionate, supportive space where clients feel encouraged and empowered. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys spending time with her dogs, traveling to Michigan, and being with family.
