Kenneth Roper is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 1–2 years of clinical experience supporting adults navigating anxiety, depression, and men’s mental health concerns. He earned his Master’s in Social Work from the University of Georgia and has worked across outpatient, inpatient, and correctional settings, gaining experience with diverse populations and a range of clinical needs.
His therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based practice, with a strong emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Kenneth utilizes core CBT techniques such as cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, exposure strategies, and skill-building exercises to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns and develop healthier coping mechanisms. He also incorporates complementary approaches including Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and mindfulness-based strategies, tailoring treatment to each client’s needs and readiness for change.
Kenneth is committed to delivering structured, goal-oriented care with measurable outcomes, using ongoing assessments and client feedback to guide treatment planning. He values culturally responsive, individualized care and works collaboratively with clients to build insight, strengthen resilience, and support meaningful change.
His clinical philosophy centers on “compassionate honesty,” emphasizing the importance of creating a space where clients feel both supported and challenged in ways that foster growth and lasting healing. Outside of his professional work, Kenneth enjoys spending time with family and relaxing with a good movie.
