Julie House, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Wyoming with over 30 years of experience providing therapy to adolescents and adults. She has extensive experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, domestic abuse, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, and women’s issues. Julie began her career in a family crisis center for domestic violence and later worked in community mental health before running her own outpatient mental health clinic for 25 years. Her depth of experience allows her to provide steady, compassionate guidance to individuals seeking meaningful change.
Julie integrates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and mindfulness-based interventions. She carefully tailors treatment to each client’s unique needs, drawing from research-supported methods to promote emotional understanding, healing from trauma, and sustainable growth. She believes that understanding and working through emotions is foundational to overall well-being and that healing has a positive ripple effect across all areas of life.
Julie is committed to creating an open, safe, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel empowered to share their thoughts and experiences. She believes seeking help takes courage and views therapy as a collaborative journey toward a more fulfilling and balanced life. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys camping, boating, fishing, swimming, and reading.
