Joseph Autry is a Licensed Professional Counselor who helps children, adolescents, and adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, anger management, and self-harm concerns. He creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can express themselves freely—whether that means talking through challenges, processing emotions, or working toward solutions.
Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Multisystemic Therapy, Joseph tailors treatment to each individual’s needs and goals. His approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in evidence-based techniques, with a focus on identifying root causes and building strategies that support lasting change.
Joseph has worked in outpatient care, in-home services, crisis stabilization, and programs supporting clients with legal and substance use challenges. Outside of his clinical work, he enjoys science fiction and fantasy, attending fan conventions, and spending time with his fiancée.
