"John Gilmore-Cronin, LCMHC is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with over 16 years of experience in the field. He specializes in treating anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, OCD, and men’s issues. With extensive experience in outpatient clinics and emergency room crisis assessments, John takes a structured yet compassionate approach to therapy.
He primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), integrating cognitive restructuring, guided discovery, and behavioral interventions to help clients develop self-awareness and symptom management skills. He also incorporates Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Family Systems Therapy when appropriate. His goal is to help clients build resilience, develop psychological insight, and create lasting positive change.
John has worked with diverse populations, including those with neurodiversity, chronic mental illness, and survivors of trauma. In his free time, he enjoys golf, tennis, and maintaining a dedicated meditation and spiritual practice."
