Goldie Oakes is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 16 years of clinical experience supporting adolescents, adults, and couples through life transitions, emotional challenges, and healing from trauma. Her therapeutic approach is integrative and adaptive, blending Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness strategies. With a foundation in both secular and faith-based counseling, Goldie also incorporates holistic elements—such as nutrition, movement, and aromatherapy—when appropriate to support overall well-being.
Goldie’s style is compassionate, grounded, and growth-oriented. She values trust, honesty, and curiosity in the therapy space, and is especially passionate about supporting women, veterans, single parents, and individuals managing grief, anxiety, or substance use. Whether working with teens or adults, she strives to create a space where healing feels safe and personal growth is possible. Outside of her work, Goldie enjoys gardening, painting, fishing, and spending time with her six grandchildren.
