Biography

"Felixia Valerius, LPCC, is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a master’s degree from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and over a decade of experience in mental health care. She specializes in supporting adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic illness, psychosis, and LGBTQ+ issues, including gender identity and transition-related care.

Felixia believes therapy should be a collaborative and individualized journey. She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and solution-focused approaches to help clients build resilience, self-awareness, and emotional well-being. As a Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Director, she’s passionate about mental health access and legislative advocacy in both Minnesota and California.

Her style is honest, transparent, and always client-centered—creating a safe space where individuals feel empowered to grow at their own pace.

Outside of her clinical work, Felixia loves running, doing yoga, indulging in desserts, and spending time with her family and her beloved dogs."
