Biography

Esther M. Gorsha is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Approved Clinical Supervisor (LCSW-BACS) with over 24 years of experience providing compassionate, client-centered mental health care. She specializes in treating depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and supports clients navigating a range of concerns including grief and loss, relationship challenges, substance use, stress, and self-esteem. Esther works with children, adolescents, and adults, creating a supportive environment where individuals feel safe working toward healing and personal growth.

Her clinical approach integrates several evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, exposure therapy, family therapy, and motivational interviewing. Through these approaches, Esther helps clients identify unhelpful patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and build resilience. She believes that meaningful change begins with small, achievable steps and that everyone deserves access to supportive services that help them move toward wellness and recovery.

Esther began her career in social work in hospital settings working with adults, and over time expanded her practice into nonprofit and private-sector roles supporting individuals and families across the lifespan. She later established her own private practice, where she continues working with individuals and couples. Outside of her professional work, Esther enjoys writing and creating music as well as spending time with her family.
