Biography

Elyse Greenamyre, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in substance use disorders, co-occurring conditions, and mood and anxiety disorders. She has been working in the field of substance use since 2017, beginning with nonprofit work supporting adolescents in achieving sobriety through connection, community, and meaningful activities. Over time, Elyse discovered her passion for helping adults build sober, fulfilling lives, and she now works with individuals and groups to address challenges, rediscover strengths, and create healthier futures. She integrates evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, mindfulness-based therapy, and positive psychology to meet each client’s unique needs.

Elyse’s style is compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. She is committed to creating a safe, honest space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and understood, while also providing practical tools for change. She enjoys working with adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds and believes every person is capable of growth and lasting transformation. Outside of her clinical work, Elyse enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, walking, reading, trying new activities, and sharing laughter with friends and family.
