Elizabeth Jensema, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker with 5–10 years of experience supporting adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, addiction, and co-occurring mental health challenges. She has worked across a wide range of settings—including hospitals, emergency rooms, outpatient clinics, in-home services, and community-based care—bringing a well-rounded and practical perspective to her work. Elizabeth primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand and shift unhelpful thought patterns, while also integrating journaling, visualization techniques, and evidence-based calming practices such as breathwork, meditation, and positive affirmations. Her approach is especially supportive for individuals managing anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, and nervous system dysregulation.
Elizabeth’s therapeutic style is warm, encouraging, and collaborative. She believes that change is always possible and that people can begin a new chapter whenever they feel ready. Elizabeth enjoys working with adults from diverse backgrounds, including women, veterans, neurodivergent individuals, trauma survivors, and those living with chronic illness. She strives to create a supportive space where clients feel empowered to build insight, develop coping skills, and move toward greater emotional balance. Outside of her clinical work, Elizabeth enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.
