Have you had enough yet? Denise believes the only way to truly achieve change is through consistent small steps overtime. Denise can help you identify ways to improve your confidence as you struggle through coping with family, career, anxiety, depression, or identity issues. She has experience working with teens and adults in three different states over the past 30 years. Identifying small steps to take in order to achieve larger goals, identifying what is important to focus on today versus letting go of the past or waiting until the future are also areas with which she can assist. Together explore the reasons you chose to be brave and put trust in another person to help you figure out your road. Through therapy sessions you will feel heard, be able to express your thoughts and feelings, as well as your triumphs and fears. You will identify ways in which you can improve your areas of struggles and move forward toward your goals. Homework is a useful tool and suggestions for work between sessions may include journaling, researching, engaging in specific activities, goals for the week or topics to consider. Leave the technical therapeutic jargon to Denise and focus on building a relationship, trust and identifying concrete behavioral changes to move you to a better place in your life. Denise will listen without judgment, ask challenging questions to pinpoint the area of change you seek, and hold you accountable to making small steps are in achieving your goals. (If you need the technical jargon: CBT, Motivational Interviewing, RBT, Client Centered Approaches) Denise is a LMHC, wife, stepmom, mother-in-law, sister, daughter, friend, supervisor, and Beagle mom.
