Dr. Deirdre R. Jackson, PhD, LCMHCS, is a licensed clinical mental health counselor with more than 35 years of experience supporting adults through anxiety, depression, racial identity concerns, stress, and women’s issues. With a distinguished background spanning clinical leadership, higher education, and direct client care, she brings a deep well of expertise to her practice. Dr. Jackson integrates evidence-based approaches—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, person-centered therapy, and Motivational Interviewing—to create a therapeutic experience that is collaborative, culturally responsive, and tailored to each client’s needs. She believes in centering the client as the expert of their own experience and shaping treatment around their goals, values, and personal strengths.
