Biography

"David Pirola is a dedicated therapist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over a decade of professional experience. He earned his Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Florida Atlantic University in 2010 and has since honed his skills across various treatment settings, including hospitals, emergency rooms, inpatient psychiatric units, residential treatment centers, and private practice. David specializes in a wide range of issues such as addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship concerns, with specific expertise in supporting first responders, veterans, and individuals exploring gender identity.

Utilizing principles from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), David empowers his clients to navigate life's unpredictability with resilience and purpose. He believes that while life is ever-changing, our responses shape our path to a meaningful and joyous existence. Before his journey into psychotherapy, David was an Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbal Medicine practitioner, bringing a unique holistic perspective to his practice. In his free time, David enjoys reading, cooking, and spending quality moments with his family and friends."
