Biography

"Dana Robinson, who goes by Valencia, is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) with over 15 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families across a wide range of mental health needs. She earned her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and has worked in diverse treatment settings including community mental health, inpatient and outpatient programs, enhanced day treatment services, intensive in-home care, and clinical supervision. Valencia works with clients facing concerns such as ADHD, trauma, depression, bipolar disorder, relationship issues, and life transitions, using approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-focused CBT.

Valencia’s therapeutic style is individualized, compassionate, and rooted in meeting each client where they are rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. She believes mental health is a lifelong learning process, where growth comes through unlearning harmful patterns and relearning healthier ways of living. Her work emphasizes understanding each client’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals while creating a supportive space for healing and change. Outside of her clinical work, Valencia is a passionate lover of music, which she sees as an important source of joy, connection, and personal expression."
