Christine Schulte, LMHC, is a licensed mental health counselor who supports adolescents and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, and disruptions to safety, trust, and identity. She takes a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach to care, drawing from evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, acceptance-based strategies, and psychoeducation to help clients build insight, emotional regulation, and resilience. Christine works collaboratively with clients at a pace that feels safe and supportive, honoring how past and present experiences shape emotional well-being and the mind–body connection.
Christine’s therapeutic style is compassionate, nonjudgmental, and grounded in collaboration. She believes healing happens within relationships where clients feel believed, respected, and empowered to move at their own pace. Christine enjoys working with individuals who feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, or pressured to “move on” before they feel ready, including survivors of trauma and first responders. With experience in outpatient care, advocacy-based services, foster care, and rape crisis support, she brings depth and sensitivity to her work. Outside of therapy, Christine enjoys spending time outdoors, practicing mindfulness, reading, and engaging in restorative activities that support balance and reflection.
