Biography

Christa Haney, MS, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor dedicated to helping individuals and couples heal, grow, and reconnect with their inner strength. She specializes in supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, self-esteem issues, and life transitions. With a trauma-informed and holistic approach, Christa integrates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and somatic-based practices. Her goal is to create a space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to rebuild trust in themselves and move toward lasting emotional well-being.

Christa’s style is warm, grounded, and collaborative. She believes that healing begins when clients are met with compassion, curiosity, and respect for their lived experiences. Drawing on her background in residential care, behavioral health, and private practice, she helps clients uncover patterns that no longer serve them and find meaningful ways to move forward. Christa is passionate about helping others rediscover self-compassion and connection, especially those recovering from toxic relationships or chronic stress. Outside of therapy, she enjoys playing music, hiking, kayaking, running, and spending time with her family—activities that reflect her belief in balance, creativity, and joy as vital parts of wellness.
