Biography

Cherri Crisp is a licensed professional counselor with over 20 years experience specializing in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Mood Disorders, and more. Cherri has worked in the mental health field in a variety of settings such as residential, community agency, outpatient, school-based, and virtual. Although that seems like a mouthful, it simply means that she has had experience working with a broad range and severity of clinical issues. She has the most experience working with anxiety, depression, stress reduction, family/relationship conflicts, life transitions, and complex trauma/abuse. Evidence-based therapeutic techniques are utilized to help each person identify their own strengths to work towards emotional wellness.

Treatment approach

I use CBT in therapy as well as some other treatment modalities that I can draw from. The important thing to know is that your treatment will be tailored around you and your needs. You should expect to feel warmth when we meet.
