She works with adolescents and adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, and life transitions, offering a warm, approachable presence that helps clients feel at ease. Dr. Summers draws from evidence-based modalities—including CBT, narrative therapy, cognitive processing therapy, and grounding techniques—and incorporates the Gottman Method and EFT when working with couples. Her approach is flexible and tailored, ensuring each session aligns with the client’s unique needs, strengths, and goals.

She strives to create a welcoming space where individuals feel safe to speak openly, explore difficult emotions, and build skills that foster resilience and meaningful change. She enjoys working with a wide range of clients, including veterans, first responders, trauma survivors, and those seeking support through family or career-related stress. Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Summers finds joy in traveling with her husband and children and spending time with her many beloved pets—embracing the same sense of balance, connection, and joy she encourages her clients to cultivate in their own lives.
