Biography

Carol Moddelmog, LCMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist with 20+ years of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, chronic pain, identity concerns, and life transitions. Using CBT, solution-focused, and mindfulness-based approaches, she helps clients build coping skills, shift unhelpful patterns, and reach meaningful goals. Carol’s style is collaborative, supportive, and focused on creating lasting, positive change.

Treatment approach

My approach to therapy is collaborative, warm, and deeply rooted in empathy. My role is to walk alongside you as a supportive partner. Together, we will create a safe, judgement-free space to explore your challenges, identify your unique strengths, and help you reconnect with your authentic self.

Strengths

My clients often tell me that I am down to earth and easy to talk to. I don't believe therapy should feel stuffy, clinical, or intimidating. Instead, think of our sessions as a normal, human conversation, just one with a clear purpose and professional support.

Interests & hobbies

Outside of my practice, I am likely spending time with my husband of over 30 years, or traveling to visit our two adult daughters. I am a true nature lover who recharges by being outside.
