Amy Daum, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor with more than a decade of experience helping adults navigate challenges related to trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, and stress. She began her career in addiction services, where she provided care across inpatient and outpatient settings, including individual therapy, family conferences, group therapy, and psychoeducation. Amy integrates evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and motivational interviewing, tailoring her approach to meet each client’s unique needs and goals. Her style blends structured skill-building with space for reflection, helping clients develop practical coping strategies while deepening self-understanding.
Amy’s therapeutic philosophy is grounded in a humanistic, person-centered approach that emphasizes safety, authenticity, and empathy. She is especially passionate about supporting trauma survivors, LGBTQIA+ clients, and BIPOC individuals, creating a nonjudgmental environment where clients feel empowered to heal and grow. Outside of her clinical work, Amy enjoys crocheting, traveling, and spending time with her family and pets.
