Biography

Alicia Hite has been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for 11 years and specializes in anxiety, trauma, codependency, and women's issues and enjoys working with adults 21 and older. She utilizes a mixture of cognitive-behavior therapy, mindfulness-based techniques, and internal family systems to help her clients. Alicia prides herself on creating a safe space for all of her clients and believes that above all else the therapeutic relationship is the best predictor of positive therapeutic outcomes. Alicia is an ally to the LGBTQIA community and welcomes humans from all walks of life. While she has certain training and expertise, she believes that each client is unique and encourages them to be an active part of the therapy process. When Alicia is not seeing clients, she enjoys hiking, writing, and spending time with her family, two dogs, and her mini-pig. In addition to her clinical practice, Alicia also is a meditation coach, mental health blogger, and is passionate about advocating for mental health access for everyone.
