Alice Maynor, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker with over five years of experience supporting adolescents and adults navigating trauma, addiction, domestic abuse, and women’s issues. Alice believes therapy is not one-size-fits-all and is committed to meeting each client where they are, creating a space where clients feel safe, heard, and empowered to use their voice in the healing process.
Alice’s therapeutic approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and individualized. She draws from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness-based practices, and EMDR to support meaningful and sustainable change. Alice views the client as the expert on their own life and works alongside them to identify strengths, navigate challenges, and move toward their best self. Her professional background spans community mental health, private practice, and leadership roles, including serving as Director of Clinical Services and CEO of a residential substance use treatment facility—experience that informs her thoughtful, grounded, and client-focused care. Outside of therapy, Alice enjoys reading, crafts, caring for plants, and nurturing her creative side.
