Biography
"Taquita Milner is a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, licensed in North Carolina and Georgia. With over 15 years of emergency and trauma experience, she has developed expertise in crisis stabilization, urgent care, and responding to severe medical and psychiatric conditions.
Taquita specializes in family psychiatry, providing care across all ages for a range of mental health concerns, including addiction, ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, psychosis, PTSD, and traumatic brain injuries. She is a passionate advocate for innovations in healthcare and suicide prevention, working to improve access to compassionate and evidence-based mental health treatment.
Her approach integrates medication management with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and person-centered care. She is dedicated to fostering a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel empowered to take charge of their mental well-being.
