Biography

Philip Atanmo, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in healthcare and several years focused specifically on mental health care. He works with adults experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, sleep difficulties, and psychotic disorders. Philip has practiced across a range of clinical settings, including hospitals, outpatient centers, home health, surgery centers, and mental health crisis units, giving him a broad and well-rounded clinical perspective.

Philip takes a patient-centered, holistic approach to care, believing that mental health is foundational to overall well-being, stability, and quality of life. He understands that seeking mental health support can feel challenging and strives to create a supportive, respectful environment where patients feel heard and understood. His goal is to partner with each individual to develop thoughtful, individualized treatment plans that address both symptoms and the whole person.
