Allen Cortado, PMHNP

Allen Cortado, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC, is a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care for adults. He brings advanced training in psychopharmacology and a broad clinical background spanning psychiatry, retail clinics, home health, neurology, and bariatric medicine. Licensed as a prescriber in more than a dozen states, Allen offers thoughtful, individualized treatment that integrates mental and physical health, guided by his belief that the mind and body cannot be treated separately.

Allen’s clinical style is patient-centered, collaborative, and grounded in whole-person care. He works closely with patients to develop treatment plans that align with their goals, values, and lived experiences, emphasizing clarity, partnership, and long-term wellness. Passionate about serving diverse populations, Allen values culturally responsive and inclusive care. Outside of his clinical work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, maintaining an active lifestyle, and participating in annual triathlon events—habits that reflect the balance and resilience he encourages in those he serves.
