Biography

Leah Tanui is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of healthcare experience and more than two years practicing in psychiatry. She provides compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals across the lifespan—ranging from children and adolescents to older adults—focusing on conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychosis, OCD, and trauma-related disorders. Leah is passionate about helping clients regain stability and well-being through thoughtful assessment, personalized treatment plans, and medication management.

With a background as a registered nurse and former Director of Nursing in a large residential care facility, Leah brings a deep understanding of both medical and psychiatric care. She is known for her calm presence, empathetic communication style, and strong clinical judgment. Leah values collaborative care and takes pride in creating a supportive environment where clients feel respected, heard, and empowered in their mental health journey. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys taking walks and spending quality time with her children.
