Psychiatric Provider
Karen Watson, PMHNP-BC, is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who is passionate about helping clients become the best version of themselves as they navigate life’s challenges. With experience across a wide range of concerns—including anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorder, sleep issues, and psychosis—Karen takes a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to treatment. She works collaboratively with clients to evaluate symptoms, clarify diagnoses, and create personalized care plans that may include medication management, therapy, lifestyle changes, or other supportive strategies.
Karen’s style is compassionate, collaborative, and empowering. She believes healing is a unique journey for each individual and that clients thrive when they feel supported and actively involved in their care. She especially enjoys working with adults from diverse backgrounds, including women, veterans, and individuals navigating neurodiversity or chronic illness. Before becoming a PMHNP, Karen worked as an emergency room nurse across the U.S., which deepened her commitment to mental health care. Outside of work, she enjoys long walks with her dogs and finding purpose in making a meaningful difference in others’ lives.
