Elizabeth Uzoma, known as Liz, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of healthcare experience and more than seven years dedicated to mental health care. She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma-related conditions, sleep concerns, psychosis, and perinatal mental health, including pregnancy, postpartum depression, and grief. Liz has provided care across a wide range of settings, including outpatient psychiatry, inpatient consult-liaison services, telehealth in rural communities, and community mental health centers. She takes a patient-centered, holistic approach to care, developing individualized treatment plans that align with each person’s goals and support overall well-being.
Liz’s clinical style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in trust and open communication. She believes everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported throughout their healing journey and works intentionally to create a safe, respectful space where patients can openly share their experiences. Liz values partnership in care and encourages wellness across all areas of life. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys staying active, traveling, and spending quality time with her family—sources of balance and connection that she brings into her practice.
