Psychiatric Provider
Christina Agunanne is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who provides care to adolescents, adults, and older adults navigating a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, OCD, substance use, and complex psychiatric conditions. She holds both a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Walden University and brings experience from hospital, acute care, and outpatient settings. Her clinical background allows her to support individuals through various stages of mental health treatment with a thoughtful and comprehensive approach.
Christina practices from a holistic, person-centered framework, focusing on the individual as a whole rather than just their symptoms. She works collaboratively with clients to identify strengths, build coping strategies, and develop practical tools for managing stress, maintaining balance, and navigating life transitions. Her care is grounded in evidence-based practices and emphasizes creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered in their mental health journey.
She believes mental health is an ongoing journey that involves self-awareness, mindfulness, and personal growth. Christina is dedicated to helping clients build resilience, confidence, and long-term emotional well-being. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys spending time with family, listening to music, reading, watching movies, and cooking—activities that reflect her commitment to balance and overall wellness.
