Biography

"Anjenette, also known as Anjie, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 17 years of nursing experience. She earned her degrees from Tarleton State University, Central Texas College, the University of Texas at Arlington, and Eastern Kentucky University. Throughout her career, Anjie has worked in a variety of settings, where she observed the detrimental effects of limited mental health services, particularly in rural communities. This observation, combined with her authentic desire to care for others, propelled her to pursue advanced education in order to advocate for vulnerable individuals and populations.

Anjie specializes in treating patients with trauma/PTSD, bipolar disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, and personality disorders. She respects the personal experiences of patients and families and incorporates physical, emotional, and sociocultural factors into the development of individualized treatment plans. Anjie is committed to bringing empathy, clarity, and perspective to her practice, aiming to promote healthy behaviors and positively impact her patients' lives."
