Alisson Gilbert, PMHNP

Alisson Gilbert is an advocate for building resilience and finding meaning and joy in life for adults that suffer from mental health disorders. Alisson is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Certified Adult- Gerontology Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of nursing experience in the field of mental health working with adults and geriatrics. She practices from a holistic model of care viewing the “whole person”- mind, body and spirit, focusing on the integration of physical and mental health. Alisson combines lifestyle modifications, medication, and counseling to preserve brain health and enhance wellness. She offers an empathetic, supportive, and respectful environment to hear your concerns and collaborate with you to meet your mental health needs and goals. Outside of clinical practice, Alisson love’s being outdoors, taking long walks and hiking and keeping active with dance and yoga. She is a continuous learner and enjoys reading the latest research in psychiatry with her cat curled up on her lap.
