Aju Alex, PMHNP

"Aju Alex is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with experience treating adolescents and adults facing depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, sleep disorders, and substance-related concerns. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Georgia Southern University and previously worked as a registered nurse in inpatient psychiatric units in Kansas and Georgia, caring for children, adolescents, and adults with complex mental health needs. Her frontline experience in acute psychiatric settings inspired her to advance her career as a PMHNP and deepen her ability to support individuals through both psychotherapy and medication management.

Aju’s approach is compassionate, individualized, and rooted in active listening, supportive psychotherapy, and thoughtful psychopharmacologic care. She believes each person is unique and develops personalized treatment plans designed to meet clients where they are and support meaningful healing. With a strong commitment to helping patients regain stability and improve daily functioning, Aju creates a warm and respectful environment where clients feel heard and understood. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys spending time with family, cooking, traveling, and playing board games with friends. She is multilingual and provides care in English, Hindi, Malayalam, and Telugu."
